Beyond September?

You’re not growing older you’re getting better. Bullshit. Peek at the mirror. Does that face look better than it did twenty years ago? No way. It’s surely no better but maybe not worse. Perhaps only different. And different is not bad if you know how to use it. So instead of running from it, burying your head in the sand, embrace it. That’s what Beyond September is all about. That’s what I’m going to spend the year 2020 doing. I’m going to make art out of my anxiety, melancholy, angst and the blues—or die trying! The concept builds on my last project: September Song, whereas an aging flower symbolizes a May-December romance, as the song September Song, suggests. Now, I’m beyond that. We’re all beyond last September in oh so many ways.
