THEM!

To them we all look the same.

If time and space are endless, then there must be an endless number of planets that accommodate life of some kind, somewhere. Endlessness allows for that, I do believe.

However, because of our circumstances: our smallness or our position in the Milky Way, the Earth may never be visited by anything that could be called life, no matter how primitive, no matter how advanced.

But what if we were? What would be the consequences? War of the Worlds? It Came From Outer Space? Alien 3? Star Trek . . . Men In Black! It sure as hell has been on our minds and in our theaters or accessible via any number of media since . . . well, since brains grew large enough to wonder about such things. So, since I have a brain big enough to be lost in thought, I thought I’d take a swing at the Pinata and see what falls out.

Following is a rogue’s gallery of invading aliens. Note that these creatures are flora as opposed to fauna, which we might have never expected them to be. Also, and most importantly, I can report that there was a happy ending, a mutual respect for the right to life of  creatures either fauna or flora.
